Standards Committee
(including Parish Council Sub-committee and Assessment Sub-committee)
The role of the Standards Committee is to promote and maintain high standards of conduct by councillors. The committee also provides advice when the Councillors' Code of Conduct is revised or updated.
The committee meets three times a year and is made up of six district councillors, three parish members and three independent people from the community. The chairman of the committee must be one of the independent people from the community.
