Food safety inspections
Routine inspections of food premises will be carried out by your district/borough council.
How often we inspect depends on risk to food safety found during previous inspections. The purpose of these visits is to ensure that food is being handled, stored and produced hygienically, by suitably trained staff and in compliance with the Food Safety Act 1990 and regulations made under it.
