There are a number of independent projects and groups with which the Dorset Coast Forum is involved. Some of these were established by the Forum and now work independently. These include the Christchurch Harbour Group, Archaeology Advisory Committee and the Joint Dorset Marine Committee.

There are also groups which have been established by others, with aims completely in accordance with those of the Forum Strategy and which can benefit from active Forum participation. These include the Dorset Coast Digital Archive, Bourne Stream Project and the Fleet Study Group.

• Dorset Coast Forum Archaeology Group

  The Dorset Coast Forum Archaeology Group took over from the Dorset Coast Forum Archaeology Working Group, which was originally established to promote archaeological work along the Dorset coast.
