Town profiles
The Research and Information Group has produced a report on 24 of the key towns and major settlements in the County, primarily based on 2001 Census data.
These 25 page reports give the key information from the 2001 Census together with additional information from the 2004 Index of Deprivation, and more recent data on income, house prices, unemployment and births and deaths. These documents are all available as pdfs on this page.
The "Related Article" link on the bottom right of this page takes you to the town "factsheets", which gives a briefer, but more up-to-date look at each town, as published in the Dorset Databook.
