Shoreline Management Plans 2
The original Shoreline Management Plans (SMP1) have been reviewed and updated to produce SMP2
The Durlston Head to Portland Bill (SMP1) and the Portland Bill to Rame Head (SMP1) have been combined under the SMP2 process which started in the autumn of 2006, to produce the Durlston Head to Rame Head Shoreline Management Plan.
West Dorset District Council is a member of The South Devon and Dorset Coastal Authorities Group [SDADCAG]. The group is producing the SMP and works to promote sustainable shoreline management along this length of coastline. Teignbridge District Council is leading the work.
