Food safety management systems

All food businesses have to put a food safety management system in place and provide simple documentation of their arrangements for making sure that food sold to customers is safe.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has produced a pack in conjunction with the food industry called safer food, better business to help businesses comply with these new regulations.

West Dorset District Council has produced its own guide to hazard analysis to address the seven principles of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).  This is required by legislation and is mainly suitable for smaller businesses.  Please use the link on the right to download the guide.
