UK Youth Parliament
UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) is a national organisation which campaigns on issues that affect young people. All Members of Youth Parliament (MYPs) are young people aged 11 to 18, which are elected by young people aged 11 to 18 on an annual basis.

Young people doing good
Young People Doing Good (YPDG) was founded by a group of seven young people (aged 17-18) from STEPS Club For Young People, a Youth Centre in Weymouth. Their aims are to contribute to their community and change the stereotypes and perception of young people today.

Youth in West Dorset
The district council is committed to ensuring the wellbeing and safety of children and young people living in and visiting West Dorset. We also want young people to enjoy West Dorset's world-class environment and to thrive in our rural communities.

Weymouth Young People's Union: MyPlace Project
In December 2009, Dorset County Council (DCC) secured an 'in-principal' grant of £3,056,240 from the 'myplace' funding programme to deliver the Weymouth Young People's Union (WYPU) project.
