Poetry and reading groups
This service is open to all reading groups. It helps with the practical matters of getting multiple copies of a book, and offers advice on how to get the most out of your group.
-
Drama sets and vocal scores
Drama scripts may be borrowed by groups and societies for informal play reading sessions and when rehearsing productions. Vocal scores and orchestral works may also be hired by music groups for special performances.
-
Libraries - local collections
Dorset Library Service provides a wealth of information about the lives and works of two of Dorset's important literary figures - T. E. Lawrence and Percy F. Westerman - through collections of their printed works held at Wareham Library. Other major collections covering famous Dorset authors including Hardy, Barnes and the Powys family are held at the Dorset History Centre.
