The School Library Service has a varied range of resources available to help teachers to deliver the curriculum from the Early Years to the Sixth Form.

The School Library Service provides resources through Long Term Resource Hire and Short Term Resource Hire term hire.

Hire resources are selected to meet the demands of the National Curriculum and to support stimulating, cross-curricula topics. Primary schools with creative and skills based curricula are specifically catered for. The Secondary curriculum and Advanced Level individual studies can also be resourced.

Material is also available to enable pupils to follow their own interests beyond the confines of the curriculum.

Loan periods are flexible and can be adapted to meet changing teaching patterns. Please contact us to discuss your particular needs.

Material available includes:

  • Information books for all abilities and interests

  • Artefact collections relating to subject areas such as history, geography and religion
