How to get there
Avon Heath Country Park is on the south coast. It is 25 miles north west of Southampton, 10 miles from Bournemouth, 2 miles west of Ringwood (A31) and comprises of North and South Park and Matchams View.

By road
Take the A31 from Ringwood (3 miles). Take the first exit of the roundabout into Birch Road at Saint Ives. You will see the big green Country Park sign at the entrance.
There is a large car park by the visitor centre (some charges may apply)
By bus
The X35 runs from Bournemouth, Southampton and Ringwood on the hour and stops at St Leonard's Hotel, which is 10 minutes walk from the Country Park
By train
The nearest mainline train station is Bournemouth. You will need to take a bus or taxi to the Country Park once you arrive at the Train Station.
Accessibility
Gravel and sandy tracks with slight inclines. One gravel track of ¾ mile, suitable for buggies and some wheelchairs
