Langton Meadows, Blandford

One of Blandford's riverside sites adjacent to Stour Meadows.

This riverside grassland offers a convenient alternative to the larger Stour Meadows. The various habitats on this site support an interesting array of species including Musk Mallow and Bird's-foot-trefoil. Footpaths through the site make it a valuable link into the centre of Blandford for the local community.

How to get there

In the heart of Blandford, accessed from the car park by the supermarket (off Langton road). Connected to Stour Meadows by Preetz Bridge across the River Stour.
