Many different organisations are responsible for managing the countryside of Dorset.

Christchurch Countryside Service
Christchurch Countryside Service is responsible for protecting and maintaining all sensitive wildlife sites in the ownership of Christchurch Borough Council.

Dorset Countryside
Dorset Countryside is the Countryside Service of Dorset County Council. The service works in partnership with other organisations to manage sites and the public rights of way network in Dorset.

East Dorset Countryside Management Service
The Rangers of the East Dorset Countryside Management Service are responsible for Moors Valley Country Park and 20 other countryside sites in the East Dorset district.
