Getting involved in the Durlston Marine Project
If you are interested in marine issues or just like being by the sea, there are many way in which you can get involved and help the Durlston Marine Project.
Adopt the Dorset dolphins
You can support the local dolphin studies and find out more about Dorset's unique marine life by adopting the Dorset dolphins. All the money raised from adoptions goes into helping the project learn more about the dolphins seen off Dorset.
Become a corporate adopter of the Dorset dolphins
Over the last few years, dramatic changes have been seen in the dolphins using the Dorset coast, and the support of local businesses is now urgently needed to continue the work of the Dorset Marine Mammal Research Programme. One way in which your organisation can become involved with this vital research is through the corporate adopt the Dorset dolphins scheme
Join the Dolphin watch teams
We have set up dolphin watch teams at Durlston, in Poole, on Portland and at Hengistbury Head, Bournemouth. If you could spare one hour a week to record dolphin sightings in your local area please contact us. All ages are welcome and don't worry if you have no experience in spotting for dolphins as training will be given.

Whether it is common or rare, every bit of marine wildlife information is useful. You can:
