Discover your library! There's something for everyone and it's free.

What can I do in the library?

Borrow books, use computers, get help with homework, read magazines, meet friends, enjoy author visits and activities.....

Ask about special events, reading groups, rhyme times, storytimes and more.

What can I do on the computers?

You can play games, send emails, do your homework or just explore. Just get your parent's or carer's permission.

What's in the library that I can take home?

Picture books for all ages, fiction, books on tape and CDs, information books for homework and hobbies. There are also videos, DVDs and music CDs for hire.

How do I borrow books?

Print out the  membership form (pdf, 424kb) (opens in a new window) and fill it out before taking it along to your local library, get your parent or carer to sign it, and show us something that says where they live. You will then get your own library card.

How many books can I have?

Up to 12 and you can keep them for three weeks. If you want to keep them for longer, please let us know. They are free to borrow, and there are no overdue charges.

If you can't find the book you want, we can try to get it for you.

Library staff are always happy to help.
