Poetry, reading and writing groups

This service is open to all reading groups. It helps with the practical matters of getting multiple copies of a book, and offers advice on how to get the most out of your group.

Starting a new reading group?

All you need to do is register for free membership but reading groups are now invited to make a donation for use of the service.  Please see attached form for how your group can make a donation Reading Group donations form (pdf, 1Mb) (opens in a new window)

We offer reading groups the chance to borrow up to 10 copies of a title with a free reservation service for titles selected for group reading. A free reading group pack which includes suggestions to help discussions with ideas for reading themes, is available from dorsetlibraries.readingandlearning@dorsetcc.gov.uk
