There is nowhere else like the Ancient Technology Centre. We have successfully delivered inspiring learning experiences for children of all ages for many years, but sometimes the day is not long enough.

Residential visits

With the new Longhouse your school has the opportunity to expand their experience by living at the Centre.  The Longhouse offers a unique opportunity to enjoy an authentic experience of the past with modern facilities.  Many areas of the curriculum can be covered and you can either follow a set programme or work with us to design your own.  We also work with a fantastic range of storytellers, musicians and crafts people who we can arrange to come to the Centre and work with your group.

Day visits

We offer a wide programme of day visits where your group can undertake seasonal tasks and construction projects.  Call us to discuss the huge range of possibilities.

Outreach

Our expert staff can also come to your school to undertake construction projects with your children in your school grounds.
