Field study courses

All our field studies courses are individually planned to meet your own particular requirements. Our courses make full use of the grounds of Leeson House together with the stunning local environment which includes features such as Lulworth Cove, Old Harry Rocks and Corfe Castle.

    Leeson House offers an exciting variety of day visits for very young pupils including our popular Teddy Bear's Picnic and The Bear Hunt, inspired by Michael Rosen's classic children's book. All Early Years and Key Stage 1 visits are based on site or in the immediate vicinity of Leeson House.

    Leeson House Field Studies Centre is running an exciting programme of residential enrichment courses for gifted and talented children.

    Leeson House has an excellent reputation for providing the very highest quality field courses. We cater for GCSE geography controlled assessments, geography, geology and biology at AS and A2 levels and field work for the International Baccalaureate.

  • Pond dipping at Leeson House: Link to Key Stages 2 and 3Key Stages 2 and 3

    Leeson House provides an ideal setting for both residential field trips and day visits for Key Stages 2 and 3.
