Access to Nuffield Household Recycling Centre

If you live in the areas of Corfe Mullen, Lytchett Minster, Lytchett Matravers or parts of Upton and Broadstone (and pay your council tax to Purbeck District Council or East Dorset District Council) then you could use the Nuffield Household Recycling Centre.

Permits are issued by the Dorset Waste Partnership on behalf of Dorset County Council free of charge, do not need to be renewed annually and are easy to apply for.

Residents outside of this area cannot use this site under an agreement we have with Poole Council but can make full use of the nearest alternative facility - see details on household recycling centres.

An application form is available by selecting the link on the right.  You can complete this form by downloading and printing the PDF document and posting it, using the contact details below.

Further details about the scheme including a map defining the area eligible, a list of street names and post codes eligible and frequently asked questions are available by clicking on the links to the right.

Important information

From 1 June 2011 the Nuffield household recycling centre (HRC) is undergoing redevelopment. While this work is being carried out, the HRC will temporarily relocate to Poole Borough Council's transportation depot on Hatchpond Road, BH17 7LQ (opposite the junction with Stinsford Road). It is anticipated that the temporary site will operate for approximately 18 months. Opening times will stay the same.
