Storage heaters containing asbestos can be accepted at the following household recycling centres; Christchurch, Blandford, Wareham and Weymouth.
On arrival at the site, please seek out a member of staff and explain what you have brought in.
Storage heaters not containing asbestos
Storage heaters which do not contain asbestos can be treated as any other bulky item of household waste - they can be accepted at household recycling centres and deposited in the metals container for recycling.
