Recycling paper has many environmental benefits:

• If correctly sorted, high quality recycled paper can be made without re-bleaching

• Recycling paper helps to reduce the pressure on natural habitats resulting from intensive forestry

• To make one tonne of high quality white office paper takes 17 trees

• It is more energy-efficient to make paper from recycled sources rather than virgin paper from wood

There are many contractors who will collect waste paper providing you have sufficient quantity for collection. Cardboard has a lower value so you will need a large amount to obtain free collection.
