East Dorset District Council Local Housing Allowance amounts
The weekly and monthly Local Housing Allowance (LHA) amounts to be used in the East Dorset area from 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2014
Claimants can find out which Broad Rental Market Area (BRMA) they are in by looking on
Local Housing Allowance postcode search (opens in a new window) 
and entering their postcode.
There are three BRMAs which cover the East Dorset area: Bournemouth, Mid West Dorset and Salisbury.
Most of the East Dorset area comes under the Bournemouth BRMA. This includes Wimborne, Corfe Mullen, Sturminster Marshall, Ferndown, West Moors, Verwood, Three Legged Cross, St. Leonards and St. Ives.

The Local Housing Allowance amounts are provided by the Valuation Office Agency and will be reviewed yearly in April.
