• (a) Corporate Sustainability Action Plan

  Each year we develop a Corporate Sustainability Action Plan detailing how the county council will be working to make sustainable development a central part of the delivery of its services over the coming year.

• (b) Sustainability Assessments

  Sustainability assessments are undertaken across the council to help our services better understand what sustainable development means to their particular service and how they can fully integrate the principles of sustainable development within their service delivery.

• (c) Reducing our environmental impacts

  A key part of achieving sustainable development is making sure we manage our environmental impacts from the day to day running of the county council's buildings and operations. This includes the energy and water we use, the waste we produce, the travel we undertake and what we buy.
