Funding for community projects in the Bridport Area

Village Hall funding

West Dorset District Council gives small grants to village halls in West Dorset. The grant is delivered through the Leisure Development Fund 

Funding for play area projects

West Dorset District Council does not manage any play areas, these are operated through the parish and town councils.

Funding advice

The Community Information and Development Officer:

• Gives funding advice to voluntary groups and community businesses
• Advises groups on suitable sources of grant funding
• Gives advice on completing grant applications forms
• Can give feedback on draft application forms
