How West Dorset District Council is structured to deliver services and local people's priorities.

To make sure we make a difference in the priority areas outlined in the plan and deliver services that local people need West Dorset District Council is organised into four directorates. Each is run by a director who is responsible to the Chief Executive.
The directorates are:

Environment

- Collecting council tax and business rates
- Issuing housing benefits
- Public toilets
- Maintaining council property

- Internal services including accountancy, legal and democratic support
