Purchasing and viewing the East Dorset Local Plan

If you wish to acquire the Local Plan it can be purchased from East Dorset District Council or viewed for free at various locations.

The Local Plan can be viewed for free at our offices, at local libraries and town council offices.

The Local Plan text is available as attachments to this page and is accompanied by a note on saved policies, which explains and lists those Local Plan policies which have been retained beyond September 2007 until they are replaced by new policies in Local Development Frameworks. Further information on saved policies can be found using the link to Local Plan for East Dorset. Additionally, the proposals maps can be accessed online using the link from this page.

The complete Local Plan costs £60 plus £9 p&p.

On request individual maps and chapters can also be purchased.
