DepARTure offers vocational arts expertise and knowledge of creative delivery and assessment methods. We have close relationships with the range of arts and cultural organisations in Dorset to support apprenticeships, work placements and applied learning opportunities. DepARTure leads the Children and Young People's Hub of Dorset Loves Arts.

Recent 13 -19 project highlights and partners include:

B-Side Multi Media Festival

Encounters programme involving over 100 disadvantaged and vulnerable young people in Weymouth and Portland working with artists to create a range of performance and media products including dance, film, sound installations and recordings.

The Baby Grow Project

DepARTure worked with Peter and Sally Snelling in six centres on a Teenage Pregnancy project in which young people sewed messages onto babygrows and recorded their hopes and aspirations. They then went on to create a visual and audio installation displayed in Argos, Weymouth during the Count Me In weekend. The work is now a resource to support PSHE delivery across Dorset.
