Redlands Route
The Redlands Route will run from Upwey Railway Station to the bottom of Monmouth Avenue, where it will link up with the Lodmoor Country Park cycleways.
The route will link residential areas with Redlands Community Sports Hub, Wey Valley School, Upwey train station and Lodmoor Country Park.
The southern section of the route was built in 2010 and improves existing paths through the Lodmoor Country Park; from the Rugby Club to the bridge and the wooded path left off the bridge along the side of the pitch and putt.

The northern section of the route will follow existing footpaths and quiet roads to Wey Valley School, where it will go on to Dorchester Road down to Manor Roundabout and meet up with the Weymouth Relief Road cycleway, which runs to the bottom of Monmouth Avenue.
The northern section of the route will be constructed at a later date.
Local Transport Plan funding is being used to build the new cycleway, which will help residents to get on their bikes for trips into town and encourage them to leave their cars at home during the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games sailing events.
