Rights of Way Order £10 (including VAT)

Highways Agreements (i.e. s.38, s.106 and s.278 Agreements) £30 (plus VAT)

Q. How did you set your fee?

The fees are set in accordance with the local authorities (England) Charges for Property Searches Regulations 2008 and having had regard to the 'Local Authority Property Search Services - Costing Guidance' issued by Communities and local government in January 2009.

The following statement is made to comply with Regulation 9(1) of the above regulations.

Total costs for 2010/2011 - £630.00

Total number of requests for 2010/2011 - 25
(Rights of Way Orders - 6, Highways Agreements - 19)

These estimates are based on previous figures. Costs will be monitored throughout the year to enable us to calculate costs and fees for 2011/12.

Any requests for these copy documents should be passed to the Legal Secretary for the Environment and Contracts Team.
