Q: Can I get a map of the public rights of way in my area?
A: Ordnance Survey maps that show public rights of way are available from bookshops and outdoor equipment shops, and the information about the location of public rights of way on these is obtained from highway authorities. Be aware that there may have been changes to the network since publication of the OS map and that these maps are not definitive and have no legal status. Interactive mapping of Dorset's public rights of way is also available online.
