Different types of bullying

Details of the types of bullying that occurs today.

Emotional and Physical

Behaviour by an individual or group usually repeated overtime that intentionally hurts another individual or group

Homophobic

Occurs when bullying is motivated by a prejudice against lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender people.

Cyber

The use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), particularly mobile phones and the internet, deliberately to upset someone else.

Racist

Behaviour or language that makes a pupil feel unwelcome or marginalized because of their colour, ethnicity, culture, religion or national origin.

Special Needs

Bullying can be manipulative, making the disabled person do something they should not, or deliberately engineering their discomfort or isolation.
