3) External works and landscape

Details of the external works and landscape for the project at Barton Hill House.

A primary objective is to preserve and enhance the existing mature trees on the east and north east boundary. Some additional tree planting and a formal hedge is proposed to the northern boundary to compliment the existing tree group.

Entrances to the building have been surfaced with paving materials to compliment the building and enhance the social spaces around it. Hedges, shrub planting and lawn areas form part of the new courtyard and entrances to the building and car park.
