Join regular fun events at your library including Rhyme Times , Toddler Times and Storytimes. Explore special areas just for children and discover our wide range of books and DVDs and other items.
It's free to be a library member and babies can join from the day they are born! It's quick and easy to join at your local library and child cardholders don't even have to pay overdue charges on books.

Library Gets Lively
Lively drop in sessions for children under five and their parents or carers.

Rhyme Times
Bounce and rhyme sessions are fun for babies, toddlers and their parents or carers. Loads of noisy fun and instruments to shake and rattle.

Storytimes
Come and enjoy some fantastic stories at regular storytimes for children. Borrow storybooks to take home and make that bedtime story special.

Toddler Times
An interactive session combining story telling and rhymes to introduce toddlers to the fun and enjoyment of stories and songs at a library near you. Join our new Toddler Time at Dorchester Library on Saturday mornings between 10am - 10.30am.
