We can help with homework and learning but have a host of other books, DVDs, CDs and other resources especially for children plus lots of other events and activities.

It's free and easy to join at your local library and there are no overdue charges and a host of other benefits for child cardholders!

• Chatterbooks

  Chatterbooks is a reading group programme for children aged six to twelve which is all about encouraging a love and enjoyment of reading. With best selling author Jacqueline Wilson as the patron, and authors and publishers supporting the scheme, Chatterbooks is a great way for children to find out about the best children's books.

• Stories from the Web

  Stories from the Web is free website used by children and young people all around the country. You can find out about books and authors, read extracts of books online and join in with loads of great activities and games.
