Coastal change on the Jurassic Coast exhibitions
Residents and visitors to the Jurassic Coast are being invited to a series of exhibitions to find out more about how coastal erosion may affect them and the area in future. The exhibitions aim to give residents and visitors the chance to explore these issues and see how they are being tackled by the authorities and by communities themselves in various places along the Jurassic Coast. The fourth International Conference on Marine Research for Environmental Sustainability

How can we manage our seas in the real world?

This conference is organised by Plymouth Marine Sciences Partnership in collaboration with the Marine Management Organisation. The conference will highlight the key challenges in managing our seas in a sustainable manner along with discussions about the tools available to do so. Talks will be presented from invited leading experts representing a wide range of organisations including the Marine Management Organisation, Government departments and agencies, industry, NGOs and scientific institutes. Adapting to Coastal Change: local perspectives - International Conference and Field Trip
13 - 15 September 2011 > Crowne Plaza Hotel, The Hague
This conference and field meeting is organised under the auspices of the INTERREG 4B NWE Project, IMCORE (Innovative Management for Europe's Changing Coastal Resource). The meeting aims to address the issues of adapting to coastal change with a focus on local level challenges and approaches and is aimed at both practitioners and researchers.
