Fit Christchurch
The 2nd annual Fit Christchurch Free Fun Day took place on Saturday 18 September 2010 which was a day of fun and laughter including Bouncy Castles, Inflatable Slides, Dorset Tae Kwon do Tigers demonstrations and much more.
Whitsun Half Term
From Monday 31 May - Friday 4 June 2010 we offered a variety of activities for children to participate in, including multi Sports Days, trampolining, teen fit, roller disco, family fun swim sessions and junior soccer academy.
Opening Ceremony for 3G Synthetic Turf Pitches
On 18 April 2010 England's 1966 World Cup Hero, Sir Geoff Hurst and Adam Lallana, Southampton and England U21 attended the official opening ceremony of the new Turf pitches at the centre.
September 2009 - New facilities
Two brand new 3rd Generation seven a side outdoor floodlit football pitches with synthetic turf were opened in September 2009 and offer:
- Junior coaching development programme throughout the year (term-time only)
- Adult six a side football leagues on Sunday and Monday evenings
- Soccer skills holiday academy during all school holidays
August 2009 - Arena wheel park and BMX track
The revamped Arena Wheel Park was expanded and to accompany a BMX track adjacent to the leisure centre.
