Heritage Committees
There are two Heritage partnerships which exist in Dorset.
- Purbeck Heritage Committee
The Purbeck Heritage Committee is a joint advisory partnership between Purbeck District Council and Dorset County Council. Other members such as the National Trust, Dorset Wildlife Trust, community partnerships and National Farmers Union also sit on the Committee. They work together on a variety of projects.
- West Dorset Heritage Joint Advisory Committee
West Dorset Heritage Joint Advisory Committee advises partner organisations on how natural features of special interest in West Dorset should be conserved and enhanced. It advises on environmentally sustainable forms of economic and social development
