Overview

Welcome to Broadmayne Children's Centre, which is part of the West Dorset Cluster. We officially opened in July 2008 and continue to run weekly activities and courses in response to local demand. The Children's Centre has a fully equipped creche room and we support children's learning through play during the activities we offer. We have a wonderful sensory area, which the children just love to explore.

Location and area covered

We are located in the village of Broadmayne on the grounds of the First School and share a building with West Knighton Pre-School. As well as running activities at the Children's Centre, we take activities out to the surrounding area such as Crossways Youth Centre, Crossways Library and Dorchester Youth Centre. We run joint activities with Dorchester West Children's centre such as Saturdad's and Stay and Play.

Parking

There is free parking available at Broadmayne Children's Centre, and hourly public bus services from Dorchester to Broadmayne.

Further Information

Please feel free to drop into the Centre to meet the staff. We have lots of useful information that you can access whenever you need it. The Centre is also a drop off and collection point for the Treats toy library. You can access the internet on one of our Laptops that we provide for families to use. Come and see for yourself and if we don't have what you need please ask a member of the team. We are open from 9am to 4.30pm.
