Wareham Children's Centre
Children's Centres aim to give all children the best possible start in life and enable parents to support their child and family. They act as a central point where families can access information and a range of services.
Overview
Welcome to Wareham Children's Centre, which has been open since May 2006. We have a main playroom which leads out onto a patio area. Also outside we have a barked area and a grassed area with a trampoline.
We offer activities for parents and carers of children under 5. We are joined by the Health Visitors, Midwives, Childminders and Breastfeeding Support Group to provide a strong base of partnership working. We ensure a fun learning environment from drop in Stay and Play sessions to advice at the Under 1's Baby clinic. We endeavour to cater for all families and have specific groups for young parents as well as a monthly Dad's session on a Saturday. We have a group of mums who run a Twins Group once a week during term time. Our activities and family learning change over the weeks, why not drop in to see what we have on offer.
