Children's centres aim to give all children the best possible start in life and enable parents to support their child and family. They act as a central point where families can access information and a range of services.

We have a purpose built centre and offer a programme of groups and activities including:
Dads and Toddlers
Young Parents Support Group
Breastfeeding Support Group
Grandparents and Toddlers Group (starting soon)
We also run a number of play days throughout the year during school holidays. Parents and carers can access our outreach workers, who can provide additional support, or help to direct you to other professionals.

We work closely with the other Children's Centres in North Dorset. Find out what

Our 40 place nursery is on site and offers full daycare, plenty of outdoor space and freshly cooked meals daily.

Location and area covered
The centre is located in Wincombe Lane, next to the primary school and covers the area between Shaftesbury and Shillingstone.
Parking
There is free parking for several cars at the centre with two disabled parking spaces.
