Dorchester Park and Ride
The park and ride has been introduced by West Dorset District and Dorset County Councils to help meet present and future demand for parking spaces in the town centre.
The service operates Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) from 7.15am to 6.15pm. Buses run every quarter of an hour during peak periods and every half an hour at other times.
The service is open to the general public as well as being targeted at council workers.
It costs only £1 per day, representing excellent value for commuters working in and around Dorchester town centre - with annual permits only £120.
Timetables have been distributed to local businesses.
Signs have been placed on the approach to the football club park and ride site, which is on the same access road as the Tesco superstore, off Weymouth Avenue.
