Park home residents forum

In March 2010 the council hosted a forum for residents to raise concerns and issues on their parks. The forum panel represented a range of services including the police, council and fire brigade as well as Mrs Annette Brooke MP for Mid Dorset and North Poole.

Park homes drop-in morning

March 2011: Park home residents attended a very popular drop-in morning at Wareham Town Hall. The event, hosted by the Council, provided a wide variety of information as well as a chance to informally discuss a whole range of issues facing park home residents.

Present were representatives from the police, fire service, handy van services, health and social care services. In addition visitors to the drop in morning discussed issues related to planning, recycling and waste collections as well as how their site was being run.

Energy efficiency and insulating park homes was high on the agenda with the Dorset Energy Advice Centre providing a wide range of useful advice summarised in a guide specifically for park home owners. A copy of the guide can be downloaded from this page in the related downloads.
