Whether you are into art, music, sport, community activity, healthy living or volunteering there are a whole range of ways to get involved with the London 2012 Games in Dorset.

Volunteering

From watching and performing to taking part in workshops and volunteering, there are still opportunities for people to get involved with the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad programme in Weymouth and Portland between July and September 2012.

Education - events and projects

Between January and June 2012 a number of trailblazer events and performances will be held in anticipation of the London 2012 Festival. There will be a mix of high quality festivals, one off performances and exhibitions representing professional and community interests across all art forms. This programme is designed to give local people and visitors to the area a rounded and complete Olympic experience.

TDC: Link to Team Dorset Challenge
The Team Dorset Challenge is a new and exciting web-based initiative which encourages you to step out of your comfort zone (as much as you dare) and do new things.

The RELAYS (Regional Educational Legacy in Arts and Youth Sport) project is a programme of linked cultural and sporting opportunities that will generate a positive legacy beyond the 2012 Games.

Inspire Mark: Link to Inspire
The Inspire programme recognises outstanding non‐commercial projects and events inspired by London 2012 across the themes of sport, culture, education, volunteering, sustainability and business.
Revive: Link to Revive Portland
Revive is a community led project that will last beyond Games time, leaving a real, positive legacy beyond 2012.
