Surgeries available at Weymouth and Portland Borough Council

Weymouth and Portland Borough Council provide First Dorset Credit Union and POPP Wayfinders surgeries from our North Quay offices.

First Dorset Credit Union (FDCU) Ltd

The main aim of the credit union is to encourage its members in the habit of regular savings and to make affordable loans to members for whom alternatives are much more expensive or simply not available.

They are available on:

Monday between 10am and 12 noon
Tuesday between 12.30pm and 2.30pm
Wednesday between 10am and 12 noon
Thursday between 12.30pm and 2.30pm
Friday between 10am and 12 noon

You will not need an appointment just simply visit our reception in the council offices where staff will direct you to FDCU staff.

POPP Wayfinders

Are you over 50 and need information about local services relating to health, social activities and general wellbeing?

If so Wayfinder volunteers can provide support and information.
