Refuse Sacks North Dorset

Where can I purchase North Dorset refuse sacks?

Refuse must be presented in black refuse sacks not supermarket carrier bags. This is not a suitable method to dispose of rubbish, the main issues with using carriers are:

Increased manual handling concern, picking up carrier bags from a significantly lower level. It takes a large number of carrier bags to hold the volume of one refuse sack. This slows down the collection process and reduces productivity and therefore efficiency.

Please note residents covered by the blue and brown wheeled bins scheme can use black sacks inside their blue bin, but any side waste must be presented in pre-paid blue sacks.

Residents are able to purchase our sacks from the following outlets:

  • Blandford - ADSL Auto lock, The P locks

  • Blandford - Bartlett's Dorset Ltd

  • Child Okeford - Post Office

  • Gillingham - C rockers
