The Dorset History Centre is the archives service and local studies library for Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole. We can help with family, local or house history research, school and community projects and much more!

Visiting the Dorset History Centre
Anyone can visit the Dorset History Centre to carry out research in the records - free of charge. We do not operate a booking system, although we suggest you contact us before you visit to make sure that we have the sources you need.
