What do carers caseworkers do?
Carers caseworkers provide assistance to family carers to support them in their caring role. Carers may require help in finding out information on how to find local support groups and carers caseworkers can assist them with this. Carers caseworkers may be able to support family carers to access local services which may give them a much needed break.
The carers caseworker will carry out an assessment with carers who provide a substantial level of care. This may lead to a support plan for the carer.
