Christchurch West Childrens Centre
Christchurch West Children's Centre is here to support parents, grandparents, and carers who have a child under the age of five years and a child under seven where there is a specific need.
Christchurch West Children's Centre offers a range of support for families.
We work closely with Somerford Children's Centre and run a range of activities which are listed in our Christchurch and Somerford activities programme (pdf, 316kb) (opens in a new window)
Our support includes:
- One to one support from our outreach worker
- Citizens Advice (by appointment)
- Adult education and family learning
- Health visitor clinics and antenatal appointments
- Incredible years parenting programme
We work in partnership with the Christchurch Play Rangers for a number of school holiday activities. We complement their service by supporting the activities for 0-5 year olds.
We are committed to safeguarding children and can offer support and advice. Find more information on safeguarding children, how we assess children who need extra support and how you can volunteer at the centre on our essential information for all Children's Centres web page
