Lyme Regis Childrens Centre

Children's Centres aim to give all children the best possible start in life and enable parents to support their child and family. They act as a central point where families can access information and a range of services.

What we do

Lyme Regis children's centre is part of a cluster of centres in West Dorset and we work closely with Beaminster children's centre and Bridport children's centre

We believe that every child and family matters and we strive to give every child the best start in life. The child is at the centre of everything we do. We provide a happy, caring and welcoming environment where the whole family is supported. We value children's contributions and recognise that we have as much to learn from them as they do from us.

We also work closely with Midwives, Health Visitors, Social Care, Local Schools, Preschools, Toddler Groups and many other organisations and support services.

Location and area covered

We cover the areas of Lyme Regis, Charmouth and the Marshwood Vale. Our small purpose built centre is right next to St Michael's primary school. Some of our activities are run at Bridport children's centre.

We have access to a shared minibus that we may be able to use for people that have transport difficulties.

Parking

There is no designated parking at our centre. You may be able to find a space on the road where you can park for one hour. There are some roads nearby that do not have any restrictions. Alternately there is a car park at Woodmead Halls, which is about a five minute walk away.
