What we do

We run regular weekly activities in our fully equipped activities room. The activities room includes a sensory area, heuristic play materials, books and much more. We are able to offer one to one support with families and continue to work with local organisations and groups throughout the area.

Children's Centre Open Day-17 May 2013

Each Children's Centre in West Dorset is having an Open Day on Friday 17 May 2013. Sherborne Children's Centre Open Day takes place from 9.30am-4.00pm where anyone can drop in to meet staff and see what activities are on offer. Location and area covered

We can be found at the rear of the Youth Centre in Tinney's Lane, Sherborne. The centre is part of the West Dorset cluster of centres that includes Broadmayne, Dorchester, Lyme Regis, Beaminster and Piddle Valley. There is sufficient free parking in the grounds of the Youth Centre.

We have lots of useful information that you can access whenever you need it. The centre acts as a Treats toy library drop off point. We can access the internet on one of our laptop's that we provide for families to use. Come and see for yourself and if we don't have what you need, please ask a member of the team.

We are open most days from 9am until 3pm. However, to avoid disappointment please phone ahead if you plan to visit us.
