Westham Children's Centre
Children's Centres aim to give all children the best possible start in life and enable parents to support their child and family. They act as a central point where families can access information and a range of services.
Overview
The Westham Children's Centre provides a wide variety of support services to children under five years, their parents, carers, expectant parents and childminders. Our sessions include Baby Massage, Incredible Edibles, Stay & Play, Babbling Babies, Babies want to Have Fun, Time Out Creche, Outreach, support and advice as well as various activities over the holidays. We have an active Parent Forum and new members are always welcome.
We are run by Action for Children, one of the countries leading childcare charities, who work in partnership with Dorset Sure Start and other agencies to provide services to families in the local community.
The centre is open Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm and Friday 9am - 4.30pm. Please note times may vary according to local need. We are open throughout the year including school holidays, but are closed on bank holidays. There are no charges for our services, with the exception of Baby Massage. However, a 50p donation is welcomed.
